AQHA Congress

AQHA Congress

The All American Quarter Horse Congress is known as the world’s largest single-breed horse show, boasting more than 23,500 horse show entries.

Held annually each October since 1967, the show attracts more than 650,000 people to the Columbus, Ohio area. It generates $275 million for the central Ohio economy.

Over $3 million is given away in cash and prizes, including trucks, trailers, trophy saddles, sterling silver buckles, and the coveted Don Bell bronze trophies.

The largest Collegiate and Youth Judging contest is held at the Congress, with more than 60 teams of college students, 4-H, FFA and Quarter Horse youth members.

Special thanks to Scott Myers and Danielle Stephenson of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association, for providing and coordinating access to the event.

Special thanks also to the Judd family and their amazing team at Irongate Equestrian Center, Tammy Dyer of D Designs for her dazzling show clothes, Troy Lehn, Chavez Enterprises, and Montana Silversmiths.

Special thanks also to 2015 Congress Queen Laura Harrington, for her gracious time.
